Between Books and Bytes
Hello friends,
I wear a few different hats: librarian, author, marketing specialist, and unabashed technology enthusiast. On paper, those roles might look like separate tracks—but for me, they weave together into one path: curiosity.
As a librarian, I’ve learned the art of connecting people with the right resource at the right moment. It’s less about shushing and more about listening, guiding, and helping people navigate a sea of information.
As an author, I know the thrill and terror of the blank page. Writing is both a personal excavation and a public offering—it’s where ideas transform into stories that might just linger in someone else’s mind.
As a marketing specialist, I’ve seen how ideas spread. Marketing, when it’s done with integrity, isn’t about manipulation. It’s about storytelling—about translating value into words that resonate.
And as a technology lover, I can’t help but explore the ways tools—from e-readers to AI—reshape how we learn, create, and connect. I believe technology isn’t replacing us; it’s challenging us to imagine more.
This Substack will live at the crossroads of all these worlds. Expect:
Reflections on the future of libraries in a digital age.
Notes on writing and the creative process.
Insights into marketing that put people before algorithms.
Explorations of technology that excite (and sometimes scare) me.
If you’re someone who loves books but also apps, who cares about both stories and strategies, who wants to think about how tradition and innovation can coexist—this space is for you.
Thanks for being here. I can’t wait to share what’s next.
— Daniel
